About Dave

I’m an LPCA, licensed in South Carolina. I’m EMDR trained and certified as a Sexual Recovery Counselor and as an Addictions Recovery Coach. I’ve been coaching people with mental health and addiction issues for over six years.

Therapy can help with a variety of mental health concerns including trauma, addiction, depression, anxiety, and relationship issues. I work with you to determine what goals you want to achieve and how best to achieve them.

What types of therapy do you offer?

I offer a range of therapeutic approaches including EMDR, mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Narrative therapy. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and supportive.

Therapy can help individuals overcome addiction by addressing the underlying causes and triggers. Together, we’ll create a recovery program that supports and guides you through each day. We’ll build the skills you need to navigate your life without addictive behavior.

How can therapy help with trauma?

Traumatic experiences affect how you perceive yourself. They also affect how you experience what’;s happening around you. It’s as if the past is active e in the present. EMDR therapy can help you put the pst in its proper place and free your mind and emotions to deal with the present.
